Dear Madam
Thank you for allowing Brian to come to Australia and stay with us. He is a very polite, well-mannered young man.
We believe that he has enjoyed his time with us. We were surprised to learn of his ethnic background. As you may be aware, Australia has a similar heritage with our indigenous population.
Dianne & I treat Brian as one of our children (even though all of our children have now grown up & moved from home). He has learnt many new skills during his time here. He has mastered snooker very well & developed a taste for different western foods. His interaction with both of us & our neighbours has been quite good. He has become a little more independent, as well.
Brian has a good understanding of the English language, which has improved during his time here. His college experience here in Bracken Ridge has helped further his education.
We look at our time with your students as a two way street, whereby they are learning from us, and we are learning from them. It becomes a little adventure for both of us, not knowing Brian prior to his arrival.
He has, along with the rest of the group, made friends with our red poodle, Rusty, who is keen to play as soon as he wakes up, or comes home from college.
We hope that Brian has enjoyed his stay with us as much as we have enjoyed having him here for the 12 days.
King regards
Jim Symes & Dianne Riley
